About Bukit Jalil
Bukit Jalil was once known as Ladang Bukit Jalil, a 1,800 acre estate that housed a rubber plantation.
Bukit Jalil came into prominence when it was acquired by the government and developed into the National Sports Complex (NSC) for the 1998 Commonwealth Games.
Since then, various local and international sports events, musical events and exhibitions held there have attracted huge crowds. Nineteen years after the Commonwealth Games ended, the NSC played host to yet another world-class sports event, the SEA Games 2017.
Accessibility
While hosting international sporting events has had a significant role in transforming the area, it is undeniable that property developers have played a big part in hastening the pace of growth. This is due its proximity to Kuala Lumpur City Centre, easy accessibility and connected to well-established areas such as Sri Petaling, OUG, Cheras, Puchong, Seri Kembangan, Cyberjaya and Putrajaya.

Public Transportation
Train Station
Bukit Jalil, despite being a small area, packs a punch with its list of amenities. Within the area itself, there are few LRT stations which is an attraction point when potentials choose the area as their next property destination.

Under MRT Line 2 (Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya Line), the government also decided that an additional elevated station should be constructed near Technology Park Malaysia (TPM) between stations S25 at Sungai Besi and S26 at Serdang Raya North. Technology Park Malaysia (TPM) MRT Station under SSP Line will serve the vicinity of Bukit Jalil, Sungai Besi and the future Mines Wellness City. The line expected to be fully operational by July 2022.
Employment
Because Bukit Jalil is close to major highways and LRT stations, many travels to work given it’s short distance from Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Sri Petaling, OUG, Cheras, Puchong, Seri Kembangan, Cyberjaya and Putrajaya. With a number of developments within the area, and the largest retail mall in the region slated to be completed in 2020, there will be a lot of job opportunities in Bukit Jalil.

Currently, there is no shopping malls in Bukit Jalil. However, you can go to the nearest shopping mall in and commercial lots in Sri Petaling, Taman OUG, Bandar Kinrara which is just less than 15minutes driving away. However, there are many convenience stores in Bukit Jalil such as 99 Speedmart, KK Speedmart, Hero Market and 7-Eleven.
The Pavilion Bukit Jalil shopping mall is expected to completed in 2022.
